Five expressions

The Collection

We keep the range deliberately short. Four permanent candles, each built around a single idea of atmosphere, and one seasonal edition poured twice a year and never repeated. Nothing here exists to fill a shelf.

NOCTÉ No. 01 Amber & Cedar candle in a matte charcoal vessel beside cedar bark and amber resin

NOCTÉ No. 01

Amber & Cedar

Our first expression, and still the one we return to. Cedar gives the composition its spine: dry, resinous, faintly pencil-shaving. Amber softens the edges until the whole thing reads less like fragrance and more like temperature.

Top
Bergamot peel, pink pepper
Heart
Cedarwood, dry orris
Base
Amber resin, tonka, soft smoke

“A quiet study on a winter evening, one lamp on, the rest of the house asleep.”

Poured in the studio. See how it is made.

NOCTÉ No. 02 Fig & Sandalwood candle in a deep brown ceramic vessel with fresh figs and sandalwood

NOCTÉ No. 02

Fig & Sandalwood

Fig is difficult to hold: it wants to be sharp, then sweet, then gone. Sandalwood keeps it in place. The result is a fragrance that sits at skin height rather than filling the room — intimate, and better for it.

Top
Green fig, crushed fig leaf
Heart
Coconut milk, jasmine absolute
Base
Sandalwood, white musk

“A long lunch that ran into the afternoon, windows open, plates still on the table.”

Poured in the studio. See how it is made.

NOCTÉ No. 03 Bergamot & Moss candle in a pale stone vessel with moss and citrus peel in morning light

NOCTÉ No. 03

Bergamot & Moss

The most restrained candle we make. Citrus lifts, moss grounds, and vetiver draws a thin damp line beneath both. We keep the fragrance load deliberately low here — the point is clarity, not presence.

Top
Calabrian bergamot, neroli
Heart
Oakmoss, violet leaf
Base
Vetiver, wet stone

“A bright kitchen at seven in the morning, first coffee, rain on the glass.”

Poured in the studio. See how it is made.

NOCTÉ No. 04 Black Tea & Vanilla candle in a dark glossy vessel with tea leaves and vanilla pods

NOCTÉ No. 04

Black Tea & Vanilla

Vanilla is easy to overdo. We built this one backwards, starting from the dry bitterness of steeped tea leaves and adding only enough bourbon vanilla to round the finish. What remains is warmth without sugar.

Top
Black tea leaf, bitter orange
Heart
Fig milk, hay absolute
Base
Bourbon vanilla, benzoin, leather

“A hotel room in an unfamiliar city, coat still on the chair, evening arriving early.”

Poured in the studio. See how it is made.

NOCTÉ limited seasonal candle pair in charcoal and ivory vessels with dried winter botanicals

Seasonal Collection

Twice a year we pour a small run tied to the season we are actually living through. Each edition is made once, in a batch of a few hundred, and never repeated. When it is gone it becomes a note in the archive.

Top
Clove bud, frankincense smoke
Heart
Douglas fir, dried myrrh
Base
Birch tar, beeswax, warm resin

“Midwinter, the hour after guests leave and the room is still warm from them.”

Poured in the studio. See how it is made.
